Sheep & Lambs For Sale
2019 LAMB AVAILABILITY
Due to flock expansion plans, we will have limited availability of breeding-quality
ewes or feeder lambs in 2019. We should have a small number of Katahdin ram lambs
of breeding quality, and of course we will have lambs suitable for pets and
 vegetation control (i.e. Lawnmowers).

People buy sheep and lambs from us for all kinds of reasons: feeder lambs (to raise for meat) , pets, starter flocks, and even as ‘lawnmowers’. We have three types of sheep available: Katahdin hair sheep, purebred Coopworths, and unregistered woolly crossbreds. Note that our Katahdin flock is purebred but we do not maintain pedigrees. Also known as a commercial flock.

For information on registered Coopworth sheep, jump to Coopworth page.

Our flock is entirely grass-fed, except for 4-6 weeks of grain for the ewes in late pregnancy. We select rigorously for good gains on pasture. Ewes whose lambs fail to perform are culled. Our core business is direct-sold freezer lamb, raised totally on grass.
                       TAILS & TESTICLES
We do not castrate our ram lambs. We generally do not dock tails on lambs destined for meat. Coopworth ewes will be docked if they are being considered for replacement stock or to be sold as breeders.
