SORRY, FALL 2020 PORK SOLD OUT
we'll take orders in Fall 2020 for pigs ready-to-eat in Spring 2021
we sell 2 batches per year, spring and fall
We raise Tamworth pigs, a heritage breed known for lean, tasty meat and the ability to thrive outdoors. They are born here, ranged on high quality pasture, and fed a balanced diet of non-GMO grain with absolutely no additives like antibiotics or growth stimulants.
HOW TO BUY OUR PORK
We sell whole, half or quarter hogs. Whole and half are custom cut: you choose how you want them cut and wrapped, using our ez online form. The Quarter Pig Sampler Pack come in a predetermined selection of the most popular cuts.
The price is $4.95 per pound of hanging weight plus processing costs for bacon, ham and sausage. Our hogs average 175-200 lbs hanging weight which means a half hog costs $450 to $495 and a whole hog $850 to $990. Quarter Pig Samplers are around $300, about 50 lbs hanging weight. Curing costs add $25 to $125 depending on which products you choose. For your bacon and ham, we can use a 'regular' cure or a nitrate-free cure which is simply brown sugar and sea salt, then applewood smoking.
HOW TO ORDER
Put down a deposit of $150 for a whole hog, $75 for a half, or $40 for a sampler. We let you know in advance when your meat will be ready and what the balance is.
